〒536-0017 Osaka, Joto Ward, Shigitahigashi, 1 Chome−4−17 鈴木ビル01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At Suzu, the pleasures of a café breakfast begin with choosing what to have on your plate. The morning menu includes toast, mountain bread toast and raisin toast, each served with a choice of salad, yoghurt or fruit. Coffee, tea or milk is included; iced coffee is available for an additional charge. The listed prices are 450 yen for toast, 470 yen for mountain bread toast and 490 yen for raisin toast, so you can choose according to your morning mood. One visitor wrote that their 450-yen morning set came with a drink, toast, salad and a boiled egg, and that the iced coffee stood out for its balanced bitterness and richness. For a more substantial breakfast, another visitor chose the Special Set.
At lunchtime, try a café classic: spaghetti. One diner praised the Neapolitan spaghetti, served piping hot on a hot plate; another also ordered the hot-plate Neapolitan. The menu lists Italian-style spaghetti with salad for 700 yen, alongside options such as pilaf and curry rice for those after a more filling meal. Lunch also includes set meals served with small side dishes. Visitors have commented on the crispness of the fried food and the generous portions.
Coffee and something sweet make a good pause after a meal or in the afternoon. Pancakes and ice cream are each 470 yen, while the afternoon petite menu includes half-size pancakes, mini parfaits and petit cakes. Some menu options let you add a drink after your meal. Coffee choices include Mild Blend, Mocha Matari and Wiener coffee.
Alongside the food, take in the stained-glass ceiling and Western-style decor, both part of the character of this café. From breakfast through lunch, you can settle in with a drink and a dish to suit your appetite.
